I have a 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Limited with approximately 141,713K miles.
Please note that I am driving this vehicle, so the mileage will increase daily.
This is a great vehicle.
Starts right up.
Runs and drives smooth and solid.
Just as it should with the mileage of the vehicle.
This is a safe, reliable, fun and fuel-efficient vehicle that is ready to go.
A Lot of the mileage on this vehicle was highway driving between Spring Lake, Michigan and Cleveland, Ohio each week.
I have also taken it to Alabama, and New Hampshire and it was great for those long trips with the family.
It is ready for you and your family for many years to come.
We are selling this great vehicle at a fair price.
Don't miss out on this vehicle! The exterior is in good condition for the year as you can see in the large HD pictures attached to this listing.
Please note that it appears that this vehicle was in some sort of hail storm (with the prior owners) as there are small dents on the top of the vehicle.
It is not noticeable unless you are looking for this, but we wanted to make sure this was disclosed in the ad.
This is a great looking vehicle in person.
This vehicle has been well taken care of by the prior owner and now us.
The engine bay looks clean and the engine purrs like new.
It has two keys (we had an extra key made at the Subaru dealership in Muskegon, MI).
The interior is also in very good condition for the year as you can see in the pictures.
It has all the popular options ( i.
e.
, backup camera, GPS, automatic cruise control, power windows, locks, mirrors, moonroof, etc.
).
This is a clean, well-kept vehicle.
It's obvious that the previous owner took great care of this car and it shows.
In 2021, we had new tires, brakes and rotors put on the vehicle, and had the vehicle aligned by a specialist in Grand Rapids.
In 2022, we had new wheel bearings installed in the front of the vehicle.
It is a very smooth ride on the highway and local roads.
I purchased the vehicle in 2020 with a “rebuilt salvage” brand on the title.
There was no damage to the vehicle.
I was informed that the vehicle was involved with a theft and later sold at an auction by the insurance company.
It passed the Ohio safety inspection by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The title is no longer salvage but it does have a rebuild brand.
It will now transfer and register like any other vehicle in Michigan.
I have photographs of the vehicle when it was purchased at the auction, which I can make available upon request.
I searched the NHTSA and Subaru for safety recalls using the VIN (JF2GPAKC4E8347574) and found the following recall: “Brake lamp switch replacement.
Subaru of America, Inc.
(Subaru) is recalling certain 2013-2017 MY Crosstrek vehicles, 2014-2016 MY Forester vehicles, 2008-2016 Impreza (4-door) vehicles, 2012-2016 Impreza (5-door) vehicles, and 2008-2014 WRX (4-door) vehicles to replace the brake lamp switch.
” I brought the vehicle into Ziebart for rust proofing, because the body on it is nearly in new condition.
This treatment will ensure that the vehicle will never rust in Michigan while we continue to drive it.
Besides the vehicle being parked in a garage throughout the year, we also bring the vehicle into Ziebart annually for rust proofing maintenance as well.
We have all of the maintenance records for this service.
I appreciate you taking the time to review this listing.
I am going to list some common questions that I get regarding the sale of these rebuilt vehicles to help save you some time when considering whether or not this is the right vehicle for you and your family.
Question: Was the vehicle in an accident? Answer: Most of the time it was and the insurance company sells the vehicle at an auction with a “salvage” title.
Question: Do you have photographs of the vehicle when it was purchased at the auction? Answer: Yes.
I have them saved in a shared folder and can text/email you a link so you can review the actual photographs.
Question: Can I make you an offer? Answer: No.
The vehicle is listed with a firm price because someone in our family is driving it as their primary vehicle everyday.
For the listed price, we will sell it and purchase another replacement vehicle.
Question: Can I bring the vehicle to a mechanic for inspection? Answer: Yes.
I have had potential buyers schedule appointments with dealerships for point-to-point inspections and will bring the vehicle in for that type of inspection.
If you are willing to invest the money for the inspection, I will invest my time to get it over to that dealership.
Question: How can I pay you? Answer: Certified bank check only.
This transaction must be safe for both the seller and the buyer, so I have opted to only conduct business by the use of certified bank check.
I apologize if this is an inconvenience for anyone.
