Child Care Assistant Teacher - Ages 0 to 5

Currently seeking an individual to work in our childcare center 3-4 days per week.
In this position, you will start out as a float teacher and work with children from ages 0 -5.
As you gain experience, you will be assigned to your home room.
*Must be able to work in the afternoons and be available to stay until closing.
Candidates must be available to work on Fridays.
* Must be available to work year-round.
Must be able to pass a background check with a clean record.
Must possess a GED or high school diploma.
Previous experience working in a child care center is a plus Reliable attendance is expected.
Assistant Teachers are responsible for helping the lead teacher carry out the scheduled plans for the classroom.
Some examples include but are not limited to: Helping the lead teacher brainstorm fun activities to place on the schedule Prepping crafts ahead of time – cutting, organizing Help washing hands after a messy experience Sitting with the children at group time to help the children remain focused Diapering children Feeding children Provide a safe, nurturing Christian environment for children Light cleaning Playing with children indoors and outdoors Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.
