Overview:
The Sleever Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
The Sleever Operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.

00/hr shift premium for working 2nd shift
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:15pm-1:45am + OT on Fridays and weekends as needed
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the set up of the Steam Tunnel, Printer, Can Washer and Taptone.
Responsible for inspecting cans
Actively responds regarding any faults during the run to achieve Packaging KPI’s.
Responsible for the cleaning/Sanitation of the Sleever Room area
Responsible for maintaining sanitary equipment and environment for the Sleever area
Actively communicates with the Lead/Supervisor, Unloader Operator and Lip Guard Operator to avoid errors or Food Safety issues
Responsible for changing Sleeves and for troubleshooting the Film Feeder.
Responsible for troubleshooting faults with Steam Tunnel, Printer, Tap Tone,Can Washer and Film Feeder.

Responsible for adding the Packaging Sleever Data Entry for the OEE.
Responsible for the verification of the QA Can Check.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training.
Must have a mechanical aptitude and demonstrate abilities.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull for virtually the entire shift.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally including overhead.
Must be able to work in a wet environment.
Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
