At Visscher Construction, we work on high-quality Residential homes as well as some Commercial work, start-to-finish.
This includes interior and exterior projects, both new and remodel.
We also focus on insurance mitigation and reconstruction projects.
We are looking to hire an additional Building Information Modeling Designer that will help to explore design options, create 2D and 3D visualizations, and develop design documentation.
The right candidate will have a good work ethic, great communication, above average problem-solving skills, and is proficient with computers and software.
This is not a remote-eligible position and will require daily commute to the main office in Ludington, MI as well as occasional site visits within the surrounding area.
Work Requirements:
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in email, calendars, scheduling, and construction software
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Revit by AutoDesk or an equivalent
MEP modeling and architectural modeling
Any experience with Xactimate is a plus
Adhere to 5S organizational principles
Assist with creating, revising, and following SOP's
Participate in Continuous Improvement, including ongoing Suggestions
Adaptable/Flexible - enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
Attention to Detail
Ability to work as a Team
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Location: Ludington, MI
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Compensation: Salary position, $40K - $50K depending on experience.
Production bonus opportunities.
