Job Description
The Third Coast Learning Collaborative (TCLC) Coordinator will manage grant goals and assist in overseeing finances, working on-site across two districts to promote inquiry-driven teaching and learning.
Key responsibilities include implementing project-based learning and design thinking, supervising data collection on student social-emotional health and academic achievement, and ensuring interdisciplinary learning and feedback-driven assessment.
The coordinator will provide training and resources on grant-related compliance and financial policies, act as an interdistrict liaison during program expansion, organize field trips, teacher training, site visits, and handle supply purchases.
Additionally, they are responsible for completing reports, compliance paperwork, and managing the budget between schools and other involved organizations.

org Responsibilities Candidates are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet all of these criteria: Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate Between Parties: Manage communication and coordination between multiple organizations and districts in both on-site and virtual environments, including fostering successful scaling of the grant to multiple grade levels and schools overtime.
Support Teaching and Learning: Collecting and supervising teacher and student learning outcomes to ensure all participants have the proper resources to be successful.
Supervise Data Collection: Collaborate with research assistants and follow documentation protocols for fidelity of data collection.
Ensure Necessary Training and Resources: Communicate with students, teachers, and organizations to determine level of understanding of grant-related decisions and work.
Organize Learning Events: Determine if additional training and/or resources are needed for grant to be successful.
Grant Management and Financial Tracking: Managing grants, including budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and administration.
Familiarity with the financial aspects of grant management is crucial for the effective oversight of grant funds.
Manage Compliance: Have understanding of federal US Department of Education financial management, such as internal controls and spending policies (involvement and/or training with organizations like SRA International and NCURA preferred).

Knowledge of PBL (Project-Based Learning) and SEL (Social-Emotional Learning): Candidates should understand the principles and practices of PBL and SEL and how they can be integrated into educational programs.
School Leadership and/or Teacher Training Experience: Experience in educational leadership roles or in conducting teacher training is highly desirable.
This could involve experience in guiding teachers, developing educational strategies, or leading educational initiatives at a school or district level.
NCURA (National Council of University Research Administrators), SRA (Society of Research Administrators) Membership or Experience: Membership in or experience with professional organizations like NCURA or SRA is beneficial.
This indicates a commitment to staying informed about best practices in research and grant administration.
Education Bachelors or Masters (preferred) in related field (Education, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Administration) 4+ years in related experiences (nonprofit grant administration, grant coordination, project management) Salary & Length of Employment The base salary for 2024-2025 is $72,000 increasing at a rate of 3% per year.
This position is on a year-to-year contract basis with opportunities for renewal until April, 2029.
There is a potential for a future expansion of this role.
This is a set salary rate established by the grant.
On-site collaboration is estimated between 2-5 days per week, with work-from-home opportunities especially in the Summer months.
This role includes health/life/dental/vision/home Internet plans and a generous retirement plan, as well as a yearly technology/office supplies stipend.
This is a 52-week position that includes personal and sick leave, along with 14 designated holidays.
