Why you shouldn't buy premium gas or mid-grade (WHITEHALL)

NEVER waist your money by buying premium ( or mid-grade ) unless you have a vehicle that "Requires" it.
(Very few require it like high horsepower Camaro's or Corvette's) Only high compression engines need mid-grade or premium because of something called detonation (spark knock) that can damage your pistons.
Actually, premium gas ( and mid-grade) have less B.
T.
U's per gallon and you will get LESS miles per gallon.
You are not doing your vehicle a favor by wasting your money (a full dollar a gallon more) on these rip-off grades of gas.
Don't believe me? Do your homework.
Only the gas stations are benefitting from uninformed people.
One gas station in Muskegon sells premium for $.
50 more and still make a big profit.
And all others charge $1.
