An Estates and Probate Attorney is a mid-level attorney with a practice focused on Estates and Probates for at least 5 years.
The successful Estates and Probates attorney is self-directed and thrives with lots of support and autonomy.
The Estates and Probates Attorney generally receive a substantial portion (approximately 60%) of their work through Gravis Law’s lead generation and marketing and/or other attorneys in the office.
A mid-level Estates and Probates Attorney is expected to generate a portion (40%) of their own billable work.
Attorneys have access to coaching and support services for business development and networking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trial experience preferred but not required
Significant mediation experience
Researching and analyzing the law on complex legal issues
Writing memorandums, briefs, letters, and other documents
Marketing your and the firm’s services to prospective clients
Performing discovery of various electronically stored data and hard copies of information in preparation for litigation
Performing due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers and acquisitions
Communicating and advising clients
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*:
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
Excellent legal research skills.
Established book of business
Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the bar in the state in which you intend to practice.
Typically, 5-7 years of experience as an attorney.
*Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.

Wage: Annual Salary from $75,000 - $90,000 based on experience.
