Responsibilities:
* Lead worship services, creating engaging and meaningful worship experiences for the congregation.
* Select and prepare music for worship services, including song choices and coordination with pastoral staff, musicians, and vocalists.
Prepare slide decks for worship services.
* Plan and coordinate rehearsals for worship team members, ensuring smooth performances during services.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the worship team, mentoring and developing team members to enhance their skills and contributions.
* Collaborate with the sound and video team to ensure distraction-free services with high-quality audio and visual elements.
* Work closely with other church staff to plan and execute special events and services, fostering a cohesive and unified worship atmosphere.
* Effectively communicate with the congregation, offering spiritual guidance and support in a compassionate and insightful manner.
* Educate the congregation about the purpose and significance of worship, helping them deepen their understanding of its importance.
* Report songs on CCLI for copyright compliance purposes.
Experience:
* Proven experience as a Worship Leader or in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of successful worship leadership.
* Strong leadership skills, inspiring and motivating team members, and fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey messages clearly and effectively.
* Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument, enabling active participation and support during worship services.
* Thorough knowledge of music theory and the ability to arrange music for a variety of instruments and vocal parts.
* Familiarity with different worship styles, including contemporary, traditional, and blended, to facilitate diverse worship expressions.
