Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our facility, ensuring a clean and aesthetically pleasing environment for all.
This position is intended to be a full time management position.
The position will require long hours in the Spring, Summer and Fall and lots of time off in the Winter.
Duties:
- Perform various groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding
- Use power tools and hand tools to maintain landscapes
- Assist in hiring and supervising ground crew
- Programming, adjustment and repairs to large irrigation system (160 zones)
- Conduct routine landscape maintenance activities
- Keep outdoor areas tidy and free of debris
- Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Maintain cleanliness of all roads, campsites, sidewalks, etc.
Experience:
- Must have experience with large scale irrigation systems
- Prior experience in groundskeeping or related field preferred
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and garden maintenance
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
