Summary
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects to make sure the proposed plan adheres to the timeline, budget and scope.
This person will be responsible for planning projects in detail, setting schedules for all stakeholders, communicating project status updates, and overseeing successful completion of each step of the project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create management, communication plans, and processes for all Harbor technology projects
Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties (management of features, products, releases, reschedules)
Define project responsibilities with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring documentation of project deliverables, timelines, and milestones
Frequently serve as liaison between Harbor Business Development/Sales team members and the Tech Team
Work with customers to understand requirements, timelines, etc.
Maintain and oversee all project time frames, frequently exercising independent judgment and decision-making skills to ensure project completion meets goals
Oversee project budgets/estimates and participate in determining how staff is allocated for projects
Provide status reports (dashboarding & reporting)
Utilize interpersonal communication skills to hold team members accountable for timelines & deliverables
Document project milestones, processes & project meetings to ensure all items of projects are tracked
Interact with clients when necessary either virtually or in-person
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in similar field or PMP Certification required
3-5 Years of experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a technical environment
Proven leadership & interpersonal skills
Strong decision making & problem-solving skills
Ability to delegate effectively and to manage multiple projects & deadlines concurrently in a fast-paced environment
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, ZOHO (or other reporting and tracking tools) and familiarity with KANBAN boards, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
