``` Chief Financial Officer Position Description: Play a critical role in guiding the financial management and strategy systems that empower Wesco.
They will have an ongoing impact and understanding of current company operations to help us analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position.
They will also serve on the Executive Team to develop, support, and implement Wesco’s long-term strategy while providing a framework for accountability.
The CFO will also provide family business wealth management for the Shareholders of Wesco Inc.
and the related entities.
Reports to: Co-Presidents Direct Reports: Controller/Accounting Team *Position Focus/Responsibilities:* *1.
Leadership:* - Provide strong leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Partner with Executive Team to set clear strategic organizational objectives connected to financial metrics, monitor progress, and provide regular reporting and feedback on progress.
- Communicate financial information and insights effectively to the Executive Team, Advisory Board, and other stakeholders.
- Present strategic plans, budgets, forecasts, and financial results in a clear and concise manner.
- Foster effective cross-functional communication to ensure alignment and integration of financial goals.
- Develop and maintain a high-performance culture, promoting professional growth and development within the finance team.

Business and Financial Partnering:* - Analyze market, competition, and business financial data and trends, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, through traditional cost control methods as well as through product line / regional profitability analysis and industry benchmarking.
- Conduct financial forecasting and risk assessment to support strategic decision-making.
- Able to identify and align Key Performance Indicators with a strategic plan for financial success.
- Participate in key strategic opportunities, including M&A, project investments, insurance, and capital structure.
- Primary leader in building banking relationships to leverage for the future.
- Provide family business wealth management for the Shareholders of Wesco Inc.
and the related entities, assisting with strategic tax planning and future business development.

Resource Management, Controls and Compliance:* - Establish and maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and tax requirements.
- Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as regular forecasting and reporting for the same.
- Develop and monitor key financial and performance metrics, providing timely assessment and reporting to stakeholders.
- Responsible for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting to help drive the company’s financial strategy.
- Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization.
*Requirements:* - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field (Master's degree or CPA/CMA/CFA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or strategy roles with at least 5 years in a leadership position, preferably as a CFO.
- Proven experience in financial management, strategy development, and operational partnering.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Executive presence, collaboration, and curiosity competencies.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and business acumen.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.
