Description:
This is an Interim Leader position
Assignment length is 13 weeks with option to extend
Responsible for managing Sterile Processing department in providing patient care equipment and surgical instrumentation reprocessing functions including collection, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, high-level disinfection, and distribution.
Manages the surgical instrument inventory and supplies supporting department activities.
Serves as subject matter expert and resource for product reprocessing needs.
Develops and ensures compliance with departmental policies and procedures as well as budget.
Works collaboratively with various departments to ensure safe, efficient, and effective instrument and equipment management.
Models’ excellence in customer service.
Develops staff competencies and ensures the highest of standards with both internal and external partners.
Minimum Requirements
Required, High School Graduate or Technical School/Program for SPD Technician with CRST Certification
Bachelor's Degree, preferred
CRST Certification, required
CRST Management Certification, preferred
Three years of SPD experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in SPD Management.
Pay $2800.
00 Gross weekly rate
