Galaxy Pizza Newaygo is seeking a hardworking, dependable Assistant Manager to join our team.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Assisting in day-to-day operations of the store
* Making pizza, doing prep, and other food-related tasks
* Ensuring smooth operation of the store and customer satisfaction
* Supervising staff and ensuring adherence to company's quality standards
* Enforcing and monitoring all health, safety, and sanitation standards in the store
Key Qualifications:
* Prior experience in the food service industry, particularly in pizza preparation or related role, is highly preferred
* Proven reliability with a consistent work history and excellent attendance record
* Ability to stay cool under pressure and effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Team player with strong communication skills
* Availability to work during our busiest times, including weekends
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive compensation package.
The pay starts at $15 per hour during a 30-day training period.
Upon successful completion of this training period, the wage will increase to $16 per hour.
Once the employee demonstrates proficiency in food preparation and managing the cut table, the wage will increase by an additional $1 per hour.
Finally, after the employee is capable of independently ensuring smooth operation of the store, the wage will reach the final rate of $18 per hour.
With proven satisfactory performance, a qualified candidate can rapidly increase to the full pay rate of $18 per hour.
Along with this, assistant managers are entitled to one week of paid vacation time annually after successful completion of the training process.
Scheduling & Time Off:
Weekend availability is mandatory due to our high volume of business during these times.
