*Duties/Responsibilities:*
· Assess and meet club members’ needs.
Consider every guest as an asset.
· Receives orders from members and waitstaff.
· Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, in a timely and professional manner.
· Positively interact with members, take orders and provide recommendations based on their preference.
· Create unique and visually appealing cocktails while adhering to our established recipes.
· Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
· Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables and other tools.
· Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
· Keeps bar supplied with ice, glassware, other supplies and/or snacks as needed.
· Ensures that guests are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs if needed.
· Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuse service to members or guests who are intoxicated or disruptive.
· Creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.
· Training and coaching of other bartenders on elevated skills and proper barkeeping processes.
· Support the management team in any other related delegated tasks, including month inventory.
· Directly follows and adheres to all policies in the employee handbook.
*Required Skills/Abilities: *
· Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service, with a focus on high volume/craft cocktail experience.
· Prior experience with formal development and training of others.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
· Strong communications skills and work ethic.
· Familiarity with food handling, serving and safety regulations.
· Ability to present a positive attitude and professional appearance while working quickly and efficiently to ensure our member’s and guest’s experience is great!
· Willing to be flexible and offer assistance to co-workers and members as needed.
· Experienced with computer point of sales systems and able to learn new register software used by a bar or private club.
*Education and Experience:*
* 21 years of age or older
· Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training preferred.
· At least 2-3 years of related experience in a high-end restaurant and/or club preferred.
* High school graduate or equivalent, or in pursuit of a high school degree
*Physical Requirements: *
· Prolonged periods standing and preparing drinks.
· Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately.
· Must be able to routinely lift and move 20-50 pounds, some heavier items may require assistance.
