STIX is looking for a General Manager to lead the team! The General Manager is responsible for the success of the day-to-day operations and will oversee all management and staff personnel.
The GM will report to the Owners.
The GM is responsible for the success of the management team and will oversee every aspect of the daily operations.
The GM will be responsible for the operational/functional success in all departments of the facility: bowling, mechanical, restaurant and beirgarten.
The GM will ensure that all guests leave happy as the team delivers exceptional guest service and provides an unmatched satisfying experience.
_*Duties/Responsibilities*_*:*
* Ensures guest satisfaction with all aspects of the bowling center, restaurant and dining experience.
* Oversees quality food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
* Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
* Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
* Understand and estimate food and beverage costs.
* Manage inventory and purchase food and supplies.
* Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
* Periodically evaluates facility equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service.
* Collaborates with the Owners and chefs to develop appetizing menus and specials.
* Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.
* Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation.
* Responsible to follow all MIOSHA, MDHHA and CDC orders and guidance with regards to COVID-19 rules.
* Monitor and manage employee schedules.
* Process all time off requests and assure appropriate staffing levels.
* Direct and indirect involvement in interview, hiring and training of employees.
* Participate in growth initiatives for Stix Beach House.
* Ensure an efficient process focused on quality and exceptional customer service.
* Review and report on monthly financial performance and make business adjustments as needed to assure maximum profitability.
* Participate in meetings.
* Assure department adherence to all policies and procedures to assure compliance standards.
* Perform Human Resource functions as assigned or as necessary.
* Monitor purchasing to assure appropriate inventory and cost containment are achieved.
* Assure a healthy, positive work environment.
