*POSITION DESCRIPTION*
*Position Title:* Member Center Manager *Department:* Management
*SALARY GRADE*: Exempt
*REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS*
*Position Reports To: Operations Manager*
*Positions Supervised: Branch Employees*
*POSITION PURPOSE*
The Branch Manager will direct and supervise the staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned branch location, ensuring delivery of quality member service, member satisfaction and achievement of cross sales and productivity goals.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES* * *Ensure smooth daily branch operations.
* * Responsible for all maintenance and upkeep of branch building and grounds.
* Establish employee work schedules and vacation schedules.
* Maintain, update, and approve employee timecards.
* Open and close branch building as appropriate.
* Supervise and assist branch personnel.
* Meet with employees for monthly one on one performance updates.
* Conduct yearly performance reviews with employees.
* Responsible for making sure vault is in balance.
* Monthly review policies, ensures branch following policies and procedures.
* Collect mail from post office each day and deliver to main office.
* Other Duties as assigned by manager.
* *Assist members as needed.
* * Cross sell credit union products and services.
* Process member wire transfer requests.
* Perform Notary Public services for members.
* Process consumer loans and mortgage loans for members.
* Backup for Member Services.
* Backup for tellers.
* Backup for weekly cash ordering.
* *Miscellaneous duties* a.
Audit loan files.

Track titles and other items needed to complete loan files.

Keep loan rate board in lobby updated with most current information.

Filing as needed.
* *Credit Union Employee* *Ensures work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
* * Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
* Assists with promotional activities.
* Participates in credit union committees and special events.
* Completes special projects as assigned.
* Professional Development Network and attend functions outside of credit union.
* Community involvement.
* Team collaboration, provide assistance, support and knowledge to all credit union staff.
* Ensures the Credit Union’s professional reputation is maintained both internally and externally.
* Represents the Credit Union in contacts with business and trade professionals.
* Continual training and education.
* Maintain and advance thorough knowledge of lending programs, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrates a commitment to professional ethics and complying with all credit union, Federal and State compliance policies.
* Attends seminars and online webinars/courses.
*QUALIFICATIONS* *Education/Certification: *High School diploma or GED *Required Knowledge: *Past work experience as a manager preferred.
Familiarity with computers and software programs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Member satisfaction orientation and cross sale competencies Ability to work in a goal orientated environment.
*Experience Required: *Credit union or banking experience preferred.
Two years management experience preferred.
*Skills/Abilities: *Strong communication, problem solving and multitasking skills.
Good project management abilities.
Well organized, and able to meet deadlines.
Able to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
Be nimble to constant change in rules and regulations.
*PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION* * Able to sit/stand/walk as job requires.
* Exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally with the ability to lift 50 lbs.
* Able to converse with members confidently, adequately, and accurately.
* Regular and reliable job attendance and punctuality.
*WORKING CONDITIONS* *None:* No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).
*MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION* *Reasoning Ability:* Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal with multiple variables.
*Mathematics Ability:* Ability to compute discount, interest, profit, and loss; commission markup and selling price; and ratio, proportion, and percentage.
Able to perform very simple algebra.
*Language Ability:* Ability to read a variety of books, magazines, instruction manuals, atlases, and encyclopedias.
Ability to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
Ability to communicate distinctly with appropriate pauses and emphasis, correct pronunciation (or sign equivalent), and variation in word order using present, perfect, and future tenses.
