\*Position is Seasonal (April-November)\*
We are looking for a responsible Assistant Manager to help effectively operate our retail store and fill in for various positions when needed.
Your job will be highly important in ensuring staff adhere to company policies and guidelines.
Responsibilities include:
* Develop good customer relationships and address customer service needs.
* Coordinate incoming inventory, maintenance and other operational functions of a retail store.
* Assist the General Manager as directed.
* Handle complaints from customers.
* Provide leadership for staff.
* Develop strategies for better workplace efficiency and goal achievement.
* Train, schedule and manage employees in daily tasks.
* Provide end of day audits to ensure the store is fully functional and presentable.
* Operate and trouble shoot Point-of-sale system.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of Customer Service experience in a retail setting (or similar)
* Prior leadership experience
* Ability to work varied hours (e.
g.
days, nights, and weekends) as dictated by business needs.
* Ability to work on the sales floor for a long length of time
* Quick decision making and problem solving abilities.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Strong leadership abilities and initiative.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: From $19.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
