Description:
Position Title: EMS Field Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily activities of EMS personnel, to ensure response readiness and compliance with guidelines of Professional Med Team’s Policy and Procedure Manual.
Operates within the scope of practice covered by his/her licensure level under the direction of an Emergency Department Physician and consistent with state and local standard operating protocols.
The Field Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager.
What the EMS Field Supervisor will need:
Current EMT-Paramedic license from the State of Michigan
Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Life Support (ITLS, PHTLS or equivalent), and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Valid State of Michigan motor vehicle operating license, with continued safe driving history
NIMS training
Work environment frequently hectic with exposure to highly emotional situations.
Regular scheduling involves long shifts and regularly scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
