Area Director

General Statement of Duties: The director is a mid-management staff person who maintains quality treatment and programming in all company programs as assigned.
She or he provides leadership and training of residential home staff and supervision for all residential, supervisory and support staff in assigned caseload.
The position requires reliable transportation, extensive travel to homes, community agencies and Central office and other regional offices and a flexible work schedule.
The Director oversees CMH Board and contractual responsibilities; clinical support services responsibility and provides oversight of Financial Liaison and Human Resource Coordinator functions.
Supports culturally competent recovery-based practices and person-centered planning as a shared decision-making process.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: MSW/MA in Social Work Administration or Equivalent Experience.
*Two years directly relevant experience equals one year college credit.
➤ Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of supervisory/management experience in mental health field or comparable management experience.
Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience.
Three years administrative/management experience.
