Muskegon Maritime Academy is looking to hire a full time office manager for the 2024-2025 school year! The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks.
A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.
Responsibilities Handle and coordinate active calendars Schedule and confirm meetings Ensure file organization based on office protocol Provide ad hoc support around office as needed Qualifications • Associates degree or higher • Two years of experience preferred • Experience using Power School K-12 Software preferred • Ability to compose and generate letters and other correspondence • Ability to type/word process at 55 WPM corrected • Ability to communicate, tactfully, courteously and effectively with staff and community • Experience managing data across multiple online systems • Experience using advanced Excel skills and able to learn new skills quickly • At ease learning new technology, skills and programs • Can efficiently manage multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines • Possesses superior organization skills with high attention to detail • Capable of problem-solving and working well independently • Exhibits professionalism and a positive attitude when working with others
