The role is responsible for managing the overall operations of the sales and revenue-generating department.
This includes the supervision of:
Inbound inquiries
Net new sales
Renewal sales
Partner sales
The sales manager assists the sales efforts by providing answers to questions that arise during communication with organizations and partners.
The sales manager can also offer pricing guidance to help close a sale, demo support for larger organizations, channel conflict resolutions, and maintain the sales strategies for each type of sales effort.
The sales manager will be part of the management team and help build tighter integrations with marketing, account management, and product development.
They will also research and advise on technology to help make the sales process more efficient and profitable.
The sales manager will lead, document, and meet with partners to build stronger relationships with outside sales not employed by ClickBid.
The sales manager will develop sales strategies, goals, and rewards and set clear expectations for each salesperson within the organization.
They will manage accountability for achieving these goals and offer guidance on improving results where and when goals are needed.
They will also research and implement industry best practices for software sales by participating in continuous learning through education, attending and visiting conferences, and associating with key sales influencers.
The salary for this position consists of a base pay with additional bonus compensation, which ranges from $90,000 to $120,000.
