POSITION SUMMARY
The Office Manager will be responsible for the overall operations of the office and systems, payroll, and recordkeeping.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing, and approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions
Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments
Supports and promotes Baker’s culture of teamwork and respect
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records
Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement
Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends
Maintains logging and labeling of Government property
Other duties as assigned by upper management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2-3 years’ experience in office management
Experience with processing payroll and related requirements
Experience in developing internal systems
Ability to analyze and decipher information and reports
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Great attention to detail
Self-directed
Mathematical knowledge
US Citizen/ITAR compliant
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Sage accounting and payroll systems or like system
Experience with payroll for governmental contracts
