HD Truck Parts Store Manager

Great Lakes Truck & Equipment Parts is looking to hire a manager for our heavy duty truck parts store in Grant, MI.
Candidate MUST have experience with managing as well as knowledge of truck parts.
Responsibilities: - Manage the parts department and oversee all operations - Maintain accurate inventory of parts and supplies - Receive and process parts orders from customers and technicians - Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts - Assist customers in finding the right parts for their needs - Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or concerns - Train and supervise a team of parts clerks and assistants - Develop and implement strategies to increase parts sales and profitability - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations - Monitor and control expenses related to the parts department Skills: - Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and track orders - Shift management experience to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow - Assistant manager experience to support the overall operations of the department - Proficiency in using cash registers and point-of-sale systems for transactions - Negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from vendors - Ability to price parts accurately based on cost, market value, and customer demand - Knowledge of payroll processes for managing staff compensation - Team management skills to motivate, train, and develop a cohesive team - Leadership abilities to make decisions, delegate tasks, and drive results Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
