*General Description:* The Community Development Coordinator will work as an integral member of Community Access Line of the Lakeshore's staff in shaping and implementing strategies to enhance our community outreach programs and initiatives and identify and secure funding opportunities.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities* * Plan and implement outreach initiatives and programs * Foster collaboration, develop networks and maintain positive relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and businesses * Identify and secure funding opportunities through grants, donors, sponsorships and partnerships * Responsible for grant management and reporting * Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters and other correspondence * Maintain foundation, corporation and individual donor records * Coordinate production and mailing of donor request letters * Assist in development of marketing materials * Create media and donor kits for events and meetings * Administrative and logistical support for any fundraising events *Community Engagement* * Share information with individuals and community agencies concerning the availability, purpose, and extent of CALL’s services, including formal presentations * Promote CALL at resource fairs and community events as assigned by Executive Director *Personal & Professional Development:* * Participate in professional organizations directly related to CALL.
*Additional Duties & Responsibilities:* * Works on a shift other than regularly scheduled, may be non-traditional hours, as needed.
* Comply with all Community Access Line of the Lakeshore policies and procedures.
* Protect the agency through maintaining confidential records and information.
* Attend monthly staff meetings.
* Represent Community Access Line of the Lakeshore in a positive, professional manner while attending community events, as required.
* Perform all other related tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.
*Qualification Requirements:* To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Must have valid Michigan driver's license, reliable transportation and provide current proof of automobile insurance.
*Education:* Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related field required; one to three years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, sales or marketing preferred *Reasoning Ability: *Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of regulations and instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
*Language Skills: *Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in written format.
Ability to use resources and technology to acquire and organize information.
Ability to present information and respond to questions from staff as well as private and professional members of the community.
*Other Skills & Abilities: *Ability to work well with people on a personal basis and demonstrates outstanding customer service skills.
Work effectively with people of diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and persons with disabilities and mental health disorders in a respectful and positive manner.
Ability to work as a member of a team and ability to work independently, as needed.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
*MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
*TECHNICAL SKILLS: *Basic typing skills, Computer literacy including Microsoft proficiency, ability to use the internet including social media, printers, copiers, scanners and password management.
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS:* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
